Two police officers dismissed for beating woman in Osun

The 2 police officers who were captured in a viral video beating a woman at the Odo Ori Market in Iwo, Osun State, have been dismissed by the force, LailasNews can confirm.

The officers Inspector Ikuesan Taiwo and PC Abass Ibrahim, were arrested after a video of the assault went viral and was condemned by Nigerians and was brought to the attention of the Inspector-General of Police, Muhammed Adamu.

Now the police has revealed on Twitter that the pair have been dismissed from the force, and would also be arraigned to court soon.
